Reliable PtoP communications for information leakage prevention

The WIDESTAR II service enables a high degree of reliability with networked PtoP communications. This system lets users establish reliable communications networks even in times of disaster, and since it does not use the Internet or public lines there is no danger of information leakage.

Send and receive data using the familiar fax machine

You can use the fax adapter to connect the WIDESTAR II terminal to your 3G fax machine and send and receive faxes.
This system realizes facsimile transmission and reception by enabling users to send content scanned at the transmitting fax as email, and then output the data at the receiving fax machine.

For voice communication, voice contract, ¥577,500 fixed price per month.

Your own personal network means you can always connect even when the network is busy

Customers who subscribe to the Exclusive Band Service are assigned a specific frequency band (channel) from among the frequencies (channels) used with satellite communications that is separate from the channels for general users.
This means that subscribers to this service can maintain a private network for smoother voice and data communications.

Simultaneous Broadcast Services(provisional name)

Support to ensure data transmission during emergencies or disasters

This service enables simultaneous delivery of voice, mail or faxes to multiple receivers by dialing a particular broadcast number, thus enabling swift and accurate communications in times of disaster or emergency when information must be transmitted as soon as possible. Also enables scheduled message distribution and combination broadcasting.

Basic fees plus communications fees

• * Calling from WIDESTAR II to WIDESTAR, mova/FOMA, mobile phones and ordinary telephones

• *1 The free call portion can be used for free calls or free packets. Further, fees for collect calls (106), telegrams (115) directory assistance (104) and international telephone services offered by other companies (numbers starting with 0570, 0180, etc.) will not be subject to the free call plan included in the basic fee.
• *2 The call duration when calling from WIDESTAR II to WIDESTAR, mova/FOMA, other mobile phones or ordinary phones.
• *3 Because the actual charged amount is calculated from individual amounts before tax, and the tax is calculated for the total amount, the charges for individual amounts including tax are different. The taxed amounts listed above are rounded off at the decimal place (except each communications fee).
• *4 No discount services are applicable.

<Precaution for the free call portion>

• * WIDESTAR II free call portions cannot be transferred to the following month.

<Precautions concerning fee plans>

• * When changing fee plans more than once a month, a service fee of ¥1,050 will be charged from the 3rd time the plan is changed.
• * The WIDESTAR II fees are applied uniformly regardless of the call destination or time period (excluding international calls).
• * When subscribing for the first time or changing the fee plan, the fee plan will apply from the day the application is received. However, it takes about 2 months to process applications for the Exclusive Band Service. The Exclusive Band Plan is applied from the day that Exclusive Band Service usage commences.
• * When changing fee plans, the free call portion is calculated according to the number of days used.
• * If the subscription to DOCOMO is terminated, the free call portion will become invalid.

WIDESTAR Duo

• * The satellite packet communication service will close on 31st March 2012.
• * The satellite packet communication service is not available for some types of terminal.
• * Changing plans between the satellite telephone service and the satellite packet communication service (Satellite single service), and changing from the satellite packet communication service (Satellite single service) to the satellite packet communication service (Satellite packet dual service) will require a change of subscription and incur a fee of ¥3,150.
• * Changing models within each service (satellite telephone services, satellite packet communication service (Satellite single service) satellite packet communication service (Satellite packet dual service)) or changing plans from the mova/satellite dual service to the satellite telephone service will incur a fee of ¥2,100.
• * When changing fee plans more than once a month, a service fee of ¥1,050 will be charged from the 3rd time the plan is changed.
